I started my radio station a little over a month ago and I put a ton of hard work into it. I was pretty proud of what I created, and then this morning I got the message that we all got.

I felt it was cold and thoughtless. It was such a corporate way to end things. How it was handled reminded me of why I walked away from radio broadcasting after close to 30 years.

I only invested 30+ days of my life creating my station and I was pretty floored, so I can't imagine what many of you felt reading that pop up commercial for shoutcast. For what it's worth, I'm sorry you're all losing your stations and that your hard work will be erased.

Be proud of what you did though, and be proud of how many people you touched with your stations.

For those of you moving to a new platform, good luck in what the future holds.

Thank you! I may need it. But I did survive the closing of the original Live365 3+ years ago and will probably survive this.
After almost 20 years of webcasting you get a little resilient. :)

Same thing. Worked hours putting this together, had a few people that were really connected to it. Now it's just gone. Not unexpected with the pigs at Soundexchange and their never ending greed. Again, greed always wins in the U.S. This is an example.

I'm not mad at Radionomy by any means. It's not just Radionomy, it's everybody that streams that has to deal with their extortion.
