I registered my station Hollywood Candlelight and Wine with Tunein. It is now posted on their site which is great.

But instead of the station's programming, my unique URL directs to the same 4 or 5 techno pop Dance mix stuff which has nothing to do with my station. I double checked the URL on iTunes and it does the same thing.

Does anybody else experience the same dilemma? Any fixes?

Hello:

Did you have you planner filled? If you do not have anything scheduled, radionomy auto fills an active station to prevent dead air.

Keeping your planner filled should prevent your issue.

The planner has a full schedule and is running on the Radionomy website just fine. The unique URL is just not pointing to my programming but some techno pop song that keeps rotating.

This is what my URL looks like: http://listen.radionomy.com/hollywoodcandlelightandwine.m3u

The Website address has this address and it works: http://hollywoodcandlelightandwine.play ... /index.cfm

Hello:

Both links you posted are playing the same thing for me. What is the unique link you mentioned?

Dave

Thanks for checking. I am referring to the URL live streaming link that is unique to my account. The problem I have had on Tunein and Streema is that link was not streaming the programmed content of the station. I checked the URL with iTunes and it works fine. So I am a bit confused as to why I get dance techno on Tunein and Streema. So wondering if this is a common problem with other broadcasters using Radionomy.

Hello:

I have also checked http://listen.radionomy.com/hollywoodcandlelightandwine ... meaning without the .m3u, which is what TuneIn would like. It works fine for me too.

Have you tried resubmitting the url in case they have an incorrect one on file?

Dave

I removed the .m3u extension from the URL and updated it on TUNEIN. That did the trick. Now our programming is live on Tunein radio so obviously that works. I checked with the help department with Tunein and they said that if your URL Stream works on VLC then it would be okay. I guess not necessarily correct as even though the VLC app played the stream no problem you have to eliminate the extension in order for Tunein to connect.

Thanks for the valuable tip!
