I'm trying to display the Share players in Chrome on my Wordpress website. Using Wordpress Theme 2017, Apache2, and the code straight from the Radionomy site.
However - Using Apple Safari it does display. The front page is here if anyone want's to try https://quantum-radio.net

Is this a Wordpress thing? or a browser thing, or a radionomy code thing?

thanks for any help guys.

Robert

Well you say "it does display" so shouldn't be a problem. If you meant to say "doesn't" I suggest you ensure that cookies are enabled in your Safari browser - as this seems the most likely problem.

Sorry for the confusion,
In Chrome, it does not display.
In Safari, it does display.

Hello,

I can see your player with Chrome.

Can you check in the Chrome settings -> Privacy -> button Content settings if
1. Cookies are not blocked
2. Websites may use Javascript

Also, if you're using adblocking software, be sure to DISABLE it on your website. It can block the player.

Really - which adblocker does that? It is more likely to be a javascript or cookies block as Domi states.

Well this is the strangest thing. It was working, but not now.

Quote:
Now it doesn't display on either.
Neither Chrome nor Safari on my computer. Nor my wife's computer -
Both Apples running the latest version of the OS. macOS Sierra, 10.12.2
I have a Toshiba Laptop running Windows 10, it doesn't show on that either.
It does show on my Apple iPhone Safari after a page refresh. Intermittently.
I tried embedding the code in another web site I have. Same result - no show.
So I don't know what's up.

OK, I think I've found something. I'm trying to run it on Wordpress sites that have the latest Template installed - twentyseventeen.

I put the code into a website that is running an earlier template, and it works fine here on both browsers. So why that is I don't know, but I'm on the trail.

Beware Wordpress Template TwentySeventeen.

(Which doesn't explain why it can be seen on some browsers in some locations and not others? )

Thanks for the help and feedback folks

Adblock Plus on Firefox did it for me. Once I disabled it for my webpage it was all good.

I run constantly with Adblock Plus on Firefox - never is a problem. Have you added in a non-standard list of sites?

Nope. Not sure why it does it, but turning off the ad blocker made it work. Interesting, I just turned it back on and now it's showing. (Shrug)
