I just sent this email to Tune:

To All At Tunein:

I understand at this point that Radionomy pulled it's stations from Tunein.

I'm sorry this happened, as 3WK is a Radionomy station.

For people who have made stations a favourite in Tunein, when they click the station name, Tunein sometimes plays an announcment saying the station is no longer available and is directing the listener to another similiar station Tunein thinks they'll enjoy.

This makes it sound like the station is out of business.

I'd like to request that this verbage be changed to include something about "visiting the stations website to listen".

Even though people can no longer listen to these stations, it would be gentlemanly if Tunein could at least leave a link to the stations sites for now.

I know none of this is opportune for any involved. We're all just trying to come up with the best workaround to move forward.

Thank you.

Jim Atkinson/Owner 3WK.COM

At least 90% of my audience was apparently coming from TuneIn. It's a shame because my station is focused on music from independent labels and artists that self-release. Most artists and labels send me music directly or at least greatly appreciate the exposure my station gives them. This makes it harder to like a big label that acts out in a way that hurts the little guys.

Looks like this is not a Temporary Thing...I just checked and 98FROGFM.COM has been DELETED from TuneIn. As long as ITunes/Apple keeps streaming us...those are the Platforms 75% of my listeners are streaming. We had probably 2-3% on TuneIn even tho I pushed the heck out of TuneIn for the last few months.

Wow Wehoudenhethiphop, that's one big kick to the nads. Sorry you (like most of us) are caught up in this mess at the wrong time. Three of my five streams fell so far so fast this past week, I trashed then myself out of anger and to do it on my terms, not Radionomy's.

I feel for you. :(

The thing is,...

Yes it's free so we got nothing to complain,....But radionomy ask's us to obey the rules....so we do,...and then they make it impossible to comply to these rules,..... and trying to get in touch with them....forget it not gonna happen,.....

i lost listeners to their power down.....so took me sometime to fix this
i lost listeners to their tune-in shizzle so i need to fix this....

but they screw me right before i try to fix this,...
