Hey everyone,

Anyone else watching their listener totals jump and dive? Is today a tough statistic day?

I'm normally not a stat watcher but I'm setting up a new station and trying to watch it's first day of "sail."

It's correct. I log my stats, you can see what happend.
And yes, it has effect on the hours count.

I would guess that is a statistical thing, since I can tell by the feedback I'm not losing 70% of my audience to come back like that.

BTW - What are you using to log your stats? I have a php script that calls the stats for the station group, but I haven't gotten it to log yet.

For me is not difficult, I'm a programmer, but i have tried to make an easy example.

1. Unzip log_rn_stats.zip
2. Edit the settings and upload log_rn_stats.php to your webserver
3. Import the sql file into your database
4. create a cronjob (into the control panel of your website) on your webserver and call og_rn_stats.php every 5 minutes.

That's it

Once it's in the database you can calculate whatever you want, average, total listeners a day/month …

Hope it helped.
