Hello,

For your information, iTunes decided to no longer add any station on its « Internet Radio » directory.
Stations already listed remain on iTunes as long as their audience average is more than 130 hours per day.

Yes, this is true for all radio stations anywhere, Radionomy or no... another article citing as such from Live365:

https://support.live365.com/hc/en-us/ar ... directory-

I truly hope that other radio directories remain viable, and I wish that TuneIn would work again, especially for folks in the US.

That's not surprising. Apple's iTunes has their own streams.
I wondered how much longer will Apple continue to promote (list) other streaming services.
Now I know. :|

So, I gather it wouldn't be necessary to add any stations because you will not get listeners. If I am thinking right and where this is going?

Just to be clear, it seems that Apple do not have the 130 hours streaming requirement, that is a Radionomy figure and they are the ones that will remove you from iTunes if you go to 130 hours not Apple?

If you are already on iTunes and you fall below 130 hours during a 2 week period, you will be removed from iTunes by Radionomy.
If you manage to get back above 130 hours, your radio will be saved, but you will no longer be able to be added back to iTunes by Radionomy or any other means.

Apple likely is slowly phasing out the Internet Radio service.

It will be more important than ever for you to try to promote your radio station more directly (have a decent site, promote on social media, contact bands to air their music in exchange for them promoting you, etc, etc.)

I was averaging well over 130 hours for 3 years and never fell below this average, and today I see that my station is no longer listed on iTunes. Anything you can do to help get it listed again?

Radionomy has no influence on that, one of our radios with sufficient hours has also been removed from iTunes :(

It is believed that they are starting to remove radios from iTunes that do not have enough connections on their end, but it is likely that within the next few months that all radios but Apple's own will be terminated from there.

 Past listeners can still find the station via the "Internet Songs" tab under Music Playlists.
