Could do with a leg up. We are a request radio, with shows by different "DJ's?" for variety. We're pretty much like radio 2 without the chatter, who also play unsigned artists in with the more established groups in our showcase slot.

I just lost two stations I had over a year. Mostly due to the fact most my listeners came from the now defunct Windows Media Guide.

This is the kind of music I like:

  • All from the 20th century, mostly the 1930s to 1970s. (Nothing new, no rock, no smooth jazz, no new age influences.)
  • Mostly instrumental, real people playing real instruments (No electronics, few electric instruments, no auto-tune.)
  • A mix of swing, bebop, cool jazz, and easy-listening jazz, plus the "and his orchestra" kind of easy listening music.
  • Some of the exotica and mood music of the 1950s and 1960s.
  • Plenty of the jazz and pop music standards of the era. Songs everyone should know.
  • Around 5 to 10% vocals because it's easier to appreciate the jazz and easy listening instrumental versions if you've heard the lyrics.
  • Faster tempo and upbeat songs during the day, slower and more relaxed at night [East Coast U.S. time zone].

Be my guest. Relax and enjoy: Hi-Fi Radio

Thanks for listening!

Hi please can you listen to my station too.

'Peanut Radio' is a station we have set up where we play sound tracks, covers & remixes, all day every day from our favourite anime shows and video games. We are also starting to produce more and more new content like DJ sets and review-style shows that more people can get on board and engage with.

All the best!

Luke & Joe, Peanut Radio.

I could do with some help! I need all the listeners I can get.

I've added my station to many of the radio directories (all of them on the list in the forum) but still could do with some help in getting a few more listeners.

Any tips also greatly appreciated.
