Good morning,

Like most of you, I am very disappointed that Radionomy will stop on 1 January 2020.
First of all, I want to thank Radionomy for allowing me to set up a radio station.

I, have looked for alternatives to continue my radio station, but have been unable to find anything. As far as I see, it will cost me around EUR 3000 per year to be able to continue my hobby (I may be missing some costs )

What I did see is the offer of live365. https://live365.com/broadcaster/pricing. I think this offer is interesting However, they clear the licenses for the USA, Canada & UK. That would mean that I can't listen to my own radio station because I’m located in the Netherlands :)

I went looking for a European counterpart but couldn't find it.
I wondered if more people would be interested in a European counterpart with the same offer as live365. This means that I have to pay EUR 90 per month to keep my hobby alive.

That is why I have made a Survey asking if there are more people that are interested in a paid service as live365. The Survey can be found here:

If there are sufficient positive reactions, we can ask Radionomy to investigate this.
Maybe Radionomy can turn this into a revenue model and this is a rescue for our hobbies.

Greeting
Andre

if i understand correctly, zenomedia let all responsibility for rights and fees up to you. It can be danger and not legal...

laut.fm is only for germany, it was discussed here...

I think that radionomys end means end for all small hobby broadcasters who are afraid from legal issues
