Post subject:  Radionomy embed redirects my webpage on iOS

Hello! I too was affected by the recent issues, but after a reboot my station works on desktop again. However, when going to my webpage where I have the radionomy player embedded on iOS (Safari), i am redirected to my station page on Radionomy. Not even when i click the player, but immediately upon load of my webpage. How can Radionomy redirect a user from my page just from them loading the page??

my site is www.perfectprescriptionradio.com

Thank you!

Julian

It played on your webpage for me; no redirection.
What country are you in? I'm in the US. That sometimes affects how Radionomy handles links.

I looked at the source and everything looks fine - the player is using the code provided by Radionomy and copied/pasted right into a standard HTML template. Not sure why it would redirect, either.

I get redirected to your radionomy page using my iPhone (safari browser)

Hi, in the head of your web page there is a redirection instruction to your Radionomy page when browser is safari:

<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
var ua = window.navigator.userAgent;
var iOS = !!ua.match(/iPad/i) || !!ua.match(/iPhone/i);
var webkit = !!ua.match(/WebKit/i);
var iOSSafari = iOS && webkit && !ua.match(/CriOS/i);
if (iOSSafari)
{
window.location = "https://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/perfectprescription/index";
}

</script>

I do not know the exact purpouse of that script (and my web design knowledge is limited), but you can try to remove (or comment) the script and test if your page works OK in iOS and Safari
