I just checked (noon Saturday 12/30/17) and the Radionomy app is NOT available for download in the App Store on iPhone. My station is listed in the All Radio app and it gets the "Listen on radionomy.com" message there. So the ongoing issue in the US has not been fixed, despite some posts I've read to the contrary.

As a work around, I changed the links on my website, http://retromixonline.com, to point to my station's player on the Radionomy page and no longer have Radionomy's embedded player on my site, as it doesn't work anymore. Then on social media, I post a link to my website and not promote the Radionomy app at all, since it will not work for my US listeners that have iPhone & iPad.

The stream still works in iTunes & AppleTV from what I'm told & on the Radionomy channel on Roku.

I have the Nobex Parterns app with Android and I have the same problem, it doesn't work, and I get the message "Listen on radionomy.com". I contacted Nobex Partners but they still haven't answered me back.

Thanks for the earlier reply to my inquiry from Dec. 22.

One of our stations' "former" listeners called our studios to see if there was anything she could do to listen using her iPhone. I have not called her back yet, because I haven't been able to tune in any of my stations for at least two weeks now. I'd like to give her some encouraging words, but at this time it appears only the 128 Kbps streams are working for desktop and laptop computers.

I'm wondering what the estimated time to restoring the 64 Kbps servers at Radionomy might be? We lost many listeners in December leading up to Christmas, and I looking for some "light at the end of the tunnel."

Seeing today that the Radinomy mobile app is no longer available on the Apple App store does not appear to be good.

Here's to wishing everyone in the Radionomy community a better year in 2018!

It’s not a perfect solution because eventually I’ll want to pull the plug when things get back to normal, but I’m back on IOS by cloning my station to a new one, and letting listeners know that the alternative station works on IOS. (The issue only affects stations that have a 64kb stream, and new ones don’t, so they work fine.) Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon, but in the meantime I and any listeners that want to can listen on iPhone again.

Larry

BEST WISHES TO EVERYBODY FOR 2018!
....in particular for a prompt replacement of Radionomy's 64 k server so that sound is back on iPhones/iPads and we can hopefully recover the auditors we've lost during the last two weeks.

This is just to inform all of the producers that are following this topic that some minutes ago there was a reaction of Radionomy to the iOS issue. You can find it in Topic:

viewtopic.php?f=34&t=41481

The message was posted by Domi on Wed Jan 03, 2018 7:06 AM and reads:

The 64 kbps AAC stream, which is the default stream for a mobile connection, is currently down and is automatically routed to MP3 128 kbps.
However, there is a redirection issue on iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) that do not support the routing.
The technical team is working on the restoration of AAC 64k flow or a temporary alternative.

Each one can draw his/her own conclusions.

PS. I wonder why this Topic that I created on December 21st and has had more than 2500 views never deserved a single line from the Radionomy Team and we have to keep searching for responses in other Topics...

More than 3 weeks have passed since this problem was reported and despite all the pleas made for Its resolution in different topics and languages it still persists and Radionomy continues keeping the affected producers in the dark. This is discouraging...

Because you'll only get technical support in the Technical Support forum, hence the name ;)
