Now that the lawsuit between Radionomy and Sony Music has been settled in Radionomy's favour. I believe we should now be in contact with TuneIn regarding broacasting on them once again.

My idea is that if as many people as possible coule send a message to TuneIn that they would look into it and decide that the best thing for them is to open submissions to us once again. The contact URL is below if you wish to contact them as I have done.

Yes, they evidently settled out of court for undisclosed terms in December 2016 (some of the changes that have happened on Radionomy are quite likely part of the terms of this settlement, and I'm sure a few trunkfuls of cash were thrown in there, too). This still doesn't bar Radionomy from being sued by other music publishers aside from the Sony group.

As of earlier this week, TuneIn is committed to blocking, disallowing Radionomy streams..

I do believe that if Radionomy actively contacted TuneIn and assured them of royalty payment compliance, along with proper proof, we get TuneIn back....

short of that, if ALL the broadcasters on the platform wrote in it might at least get TuneIn's attention and bring them to the table with Radionomy.

TuneIn is such an important feed, SOMETHING has to be done.

I sent them an email on Friday asking if I could be added back in. I'll let you know if I get an answer.

Ok, if we can be added back, will have to start over with getting followers again, because 2 of my stations had over 1,000 followers?

I just emailed them too, I mean it shouldn't hurt right? I mean all of us, as broadcasters, should email them!

:D

Be certain, in your e-mailing campaign, to cite the following legal document:

https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/cas ... Inc_et_al#

This shows that there is a dismissal of the case. The precise terms of the settlement are currently unknown, though.

Here's what I sent via TuneIn's contact us email page (which requires a double submission):

As you know, TuneIn subscribers are currently being excluded from some of the world's most impressive online radio communities, as they are prevented from accessing stations hosted on the Radionomy platform. Please reconsider TuneIn's current ban against Radionomy broadcasters, following the Dismissal with Prejudice filed by Arista Music, Arista Records LLC, LaFace Records, LLC, Sony Music Entertainment, Sony Music Entertainment US Latin LLC, Zomba Recording LLC. on 12/16/2016.
