Yes, thanks.

Hi there - that's interesting - could you clarify please?

You've given TuneIn the Shoutcast URL for your newly created station, and in Shoutcast you use your original Radionomy URL, is that right?

If so where in Shoutcast do you use the old Radionomy URL?

Much appreciated.

Hello,
I see it, you should not worry. Any dissatisfaction will be resolved at the right time. You chose SHOUTcast Streaming Service, so it not to have the function to paste link. Now you can creat a new radio station (upgrading an existing SHOUTcast station) with your old station's authhash* to change it to SHOUTcast (DNAS). Then, you will see the Stream URL' field. However, the radio station name will be changed. You should consider carefully before doing.

Awesome - I've resubmitted to TuneIn using the new URL.

You are a star - thanks very much for your help.

My only concern is... is that using Shoutcast to redirect a Radionomy URL? Won't it only count as one listener (the Shoutcast <> RN link) even if you had 100 people listening on TuneIn via the Shoutcast link?

That's a good point - you may well be right - I'll let you know if/when TuneIn accept the new URL.

Worst case scenario, just 1 listener - at least we'll be back on TuneIn and sharing the music :-) And I'll be able to say "OK Google, play 23 Indie Street on TuneIn" (it bugs me that I can't currently).

I'd be interested if anyone understands the relationship between Radionomy and Shoutcast. If you set up a station in Shoutcast the interface is EXACTLY the same as the Radionomy RMO. Also, try clicking this URL that I've just created in Shoutcast - notice that it resolves to a Radionomy stream.....weird?

Tunein will no longer accept Radionomy stations. It is well explained here. See the Radionomy paragraph: http://help.tunein.com/customer/en/port ... t-accepted

That's right - TuneIn doesn't accept Radionomy stations - hasn't done for ages.

But it seems it will accept Shoutcast stations acting as a 'Trojan Horse' for a Radionomy stream (see further up the thread).....
