They never said 'never', they basically have said that they won't seek carriage over TuneIn unless there is a favourable change downwards in the royalty rates. If the rates reverted back to the more reasonable ones in effect before 1 January 2016, then they might seek TuneIn again.

Oh for gods sake! Why won't Radionomy just buy TuneIn or something. It would solve all of the problems! XD

Great idea!! Radionomy, buy Tunein!!!

They do not have money to pay the royalties in all the countries and they are going to buy Tunein..

Though it would be a great idea.

We may never get our stations back on TuneIn. However, our stations are listed in several other directories...TuneIn is not the only internet radio directory out there. I have been promoting my stations via the free, Simple Radio mobile app from Streema. It's a good app similar to TuneIn, which is more stable IMO, with less dropouts. I like the fact too the mobile app has larger print for people like me who, due to age, are now "half blind", lol. Our stations are also available via the Shoutcast, Radionomy, and Orange Radio apps. In the case of those first two apps., they are also available on Roku, SmartTV's, and set-top streaming devices, too, so that takes care of the issue with listeners accessing Radionomy stations via those platforms I just mentioned. We definitely should seek getting Radionomy stations back on TuneIn, but in the interim, we should be diligent in promoting all these other apps out there which offer our stations. I would also encourage you all to sign the petition mentioned below that someone posted about earlier on this thread (there are only 10 signatures!). It's understandable to be angry and want to vent about our stations no longer being available on TuneIn, but doing so offers nothing constructive if we fail to ACT.

For U.S. stations, please also visit our facebook page about getting the Small Webcaster Agreement restored. We need reasonable and affordable music royalty costs restored for small webcasters. I have four stations on Radionomy, but I do have one station with a paid licensor. One of the stations now on Radionomy was with a paid licensor as well. When the CRB ruling went into effect 1/1/16, my music royalty costs went up almost 500%, prompting me to move one of the stations to Radionomy. Even with the paid licensor, I am now paying almost 300% more for music licensing than I did before Jan. 2016. Even if you're with Radionomy and receiving free service for your stations, we still need your help. When Live365 went down in Feburary of last year and this outrageous CRB ruling went into effect raising music royalty costs for small webcasters, we saw a huge number of stations moving to Radionomy. As a result of those stations moving en masse to Radionomy to avoid the higher music royalty costs, Radionomy's music royalties have increased dramatically.. Moving stations to Radionomy is a short-term solution to a long-term problem. and puts more financial strain on Radionomy. That is why we need everyone to come together and contact their local Congressmen and women about having the Small Webcaster Agreement (or something comparable) restored for small webcasters. We can sit here all day, lament and complain about our situation, but nothing changes if we don't ACT. Join us at http://saveinternetradio.info to learn more about how you can get involved and help. We CAN make a difference if we ALL come together to have pre-2016 music royalty costs restored for small webcasters. Thanks! :)

As of today (3/20/17) we still can not list radionomy stations with tunein. My solution, itunin.com its new but growing and takes radionomy stations :)
Also if you haven't, list on vtuner.com who is partner with Bose, Yamaha, etc... and plays your station on most new audio equipment, smart tvs and cars.
The key is to list your station on as many sites as possible.

Yes, the more exposure you have for your station, the better off you are going to be. In addition to vtuner, be sure to check out reciva.com. It is a database similar to vtuner which is compatible with many wi-fi radios. You can add your station info there as well.

How do you add your station on ITunein.com?

Thanks,
John
