Would be great if stations could have an option to pay to keep their station online if it is not getting the listener stats it needs to move it to the next level. Some internet stations will never grow so big but still need this kind of service. Im sure a lot of stations would be willing to pay for a service for the smaller station to stay alive.

The option of paying to keep your station on air if it did not reach the listenership figures required was discussed at some length a few years back, but it was made clear that this option would not be offered. So you have to reach the 130 hours and keep it there to continue to use the Radionomy platform. Of course there are other companies offering streaming services, but you have to pay and then the major expense of copyright and royalty fees has to be dealt with, and they really are very expensive. You really are better off just trying to get the 130 hours plus on RN.

I am in a small market in Canada and I have a 5 station cluster that is achieving 130 hours / day on 4 out of 5 services. Keep in mind, that's only on average of 5.1 listeners at any given time. If the audience is smaller than that, it's not really a radio station.
