Post subject:  How do I actually start the station playing?

Seems like a silly question I know - but I can't for the life of me find out how to get the thing started?
I have a month of planning there, but how to start streaming?
Thanks

You registered Quantum-Radio on Shoutcast for Business.
First, subscribe to a plan on https://radiomanager.shoutcast.com/RMO/ ... /your-plan
Then, you'll find the server address, port, Stream ID and password on https://radiomanager.shoutcast.com > Settings > Connection.

For further assistance, please email support@shoutcast.com

Ah, so I must have missed that bit. Radionomy is Shoutcast by another name. So, lets try that then shall we. :-)

Thanks for pointing that out to me.

FYI, Radionomy and Shoutcast are owned by the same group Audiovalley, but the terms of use are quite different.

Yes well. The point being, you can't use one without having a subscription to the other. To use Radionomy, one must have a Business subscription to Shoutcast. What the terms of service are or imply is meaningless unless you have that bit in place.
But then. I'm probably wrong. I often am.

There is no mention of AudioValley anywhere in the article, did the writter @ tech crunch write a misleading article back in 2014?

All it mentions Shoutcast was acquired by Radionomy in 2014 based in Brussels, Belgium, nowhere in their article mentions any wording of Audio Valley?

The recent history of Radionomy is summed like this:

2014 - Radionomy Group has acquired Shoutcast, WinAmp, and Targetspot to help further solidify a radio services company.
2015 - Vivendi (entertainment company) takes a 64% ownership stake in the company (other stakes include AOL and venture capital companies), with options to take further ownership.
2017 - Vivendi sells its shares back to the Radionomy founder, Alexandre Saboundjian.
2018 - Radionomy Group is rebranded to AudioValley with a refocusing onto radio services for profit (particularly in the Shoutcast and Targetspot divisions, including marketing the Targetspot technology to traditional radio stations who stream, especially in Europe). A public stock offering is made in July onto the EuroNext markets, raising nearly ten million euros. They turn a profit of 1.8 million euros.

Is that important?
You don't ask the Bing helpdesk W10 related problems either

RadioXUS Thank You for the information about AudioValley and insight about Radionomy, there seems to be a lack of transparency @ Radionomy about their policies and decisions (that don't make any sense)?
