That said, I haven't heard a single Trojan advertisement today on any of my properties, so this could be good news.

I have never heard it on my station.

Because you are in the Netherlands, I tried listening to Radionomy stations this week-end using an USA VPN and I got

The Trojan Man had taken a vacation, but now he appears to be back. I sort of wonder if they've dayparted it for the weekends only. Still, be vigilant. Keep sending messages and concerns to support@targetspot.com and get this tasteless advert removed.

Yes, he's baa-ack! And to make it worse, the last two breaks I"ve heard have run a minute over the two minute mark, covering the start of the next regular track.

Sadly, the obnoxious Trojan ads have continued into Sunday for me. Last week they were gone by Sunday. And now TWO Trojan ads in the last break. Sigh. Lovely first impression for new listeners on my biggest day of the year.

Unfortunately, the infamous Trojan Man commercial is back :x .
As a Christian producer it is hard to imagine that our audience will see us as a serious option supporting anybody's spiritual journey.
Also, I want to stress the fact that people struggling with sex addiction and trying to find a way out of it will automatically get an unhealthy trigger listening to this pseudo sex guru who invites us to "keep our sexual life spicy."
Radionomy friends, show a little bit of mercy for those who need it, and for those who work hard to keep an encouraging online radio station afloat.
You have other commercials that are definitely more appropriate, feel free to remove the Trojan man and throw in there anything else, in the end, it is also a waste of money for those who want to advertise a product among an audience interested in a different kind of content.
Thank you for letting me share.

Some time ago, people were complaining about Spanish ads playing on stations that played only English music. Supposedly, there was a way to request a filter be added to the station so that it would be exempt from airing Spanish-language advertising if it only had English broadcasting.

I propose, in a similar vein, that there would be a request-based filter (i.e. a permanent filter that one could opt into) that would help block ads for sex (like the condom ads), alcohol (like beer, such as the ad that recently proclaimed to "drink the damn beer") and drug-related products (i.e. ones related to marijuana as it becomes more legal in the US - haven't heard these yet, but you will... CBD is only the beginning).

Advertising could still continue on the stations that were cool with that, but for conservative broadcasters and for those who broadcast programs and music of faith, I would think they would appreciate a measure like this.

Yes, he's back and a day earlier than last week. Slowly creeping toward the whole week.
