What is the recommended number of songs or music length needed to start a radio?

There are guidelines for how often you can repeat a certain artist/song/album, make sure you have enough content to stay within the rules. Trust me, the Producer Pact is your friend, get to know it before you broadcast and you'll do fine. I started with about 12 hours of content and was repeating the artists only twice a day and at least 12 hours apart. Of course there are 24 hours in a day so try to work on building a nice database to avoid repeating everything. Podcasts are great fillers to take up space. You can also use some of the Radionomy Podcasts and content to help you get started. It's your station of course so set it up as you like but in my opinion, listeners don't want to hear the same songs over and over, especially if you want them to start listening and keep listening for hours at a time. This is just how I see it and not how you should do it. Find your thing to draw the listeners in and build on it. Good luck
