Producers are required to maintain the 130Hr minimum; but at these extraordinary circumstances in which we cannot use the top streaming platforms (TuneIn, and for some unknown reasons ShoutCast), Radionomy should, as a courtesy to the hard-working Producers, remove, on temporary basis, the 130Hr minimum requirement. This, until things settle and, hopefully, come to normal.

If not, we will all have a slow and painful death, as we see our stations dropping below 130Hr.

As a long standing producer who like many others fought hard to get to and beyond 130 hrs per day,
I think Gabriel makes a sensible and valid suggestion.
I too am watching my station being slowly strangled, I will fight on and never give up.
However, we need support to continue to shine that amazing rainbow of musics from every country on the globe.
Its fantastic.
C'mon Radionomy shine a light here.

Exactly. Time for Radionomy to step up & do the right thing. The fair thing. This would cost Radionomy nothing, but would be a much-appreciated act of faith & commitment to RN's tens of thousands of producers who have endured one problem after another over the last few months.

I think they should abolish this entirely. I don't see why we can't just run small stations with 10-20 listeners and be happy with that. Why do they force growth on us?
And I definitely don't think we should have to start over (re-add all the music that takes countless hours to upload, edit, and organize into boxes) every time we fail to meet the listener average requirements.

I agree with all of your points here, and despite being over the limit, I wish there was no limit at all.

But the truth is that radionomy does have something to lose from this. As they explained, these measures is a way to minimize royalties. By having thousands of stations play copyrighted songs with 2-3 listeners I am guessing they don't make much money from advertisers but have to give many back in royalties.

If you have this average of listeners you would be way over the limit.

I agree ( even though I am over the limit regularly ) that it is not fair to boot stations out if the system is constantly messing up, and eliminating sources of listeners.
I think the requirement of ads should be more than enough considering that we dont see a dime of that money and listening to these ads, some of the sponsors are HUGE corporations so you know they arent paying a small amount of money !!
Incidentally, messing up streams is really an issue that needs serious attention. It doesnt happen once in a blue moon , it happens regularly !
Today I heard nothing but spanish ads and not ONE of my listeners understood any of it at all !
I was answering emails asking me what is this we are hearing half the day !

These are things that really need to be considered by Radionomy and fairness would restore alot of faith in your broadcasters here

Hey guys,
This is just my opinion, not meant to disagree with your's, which everyone is entitled to.

I felt for years that one big problem with L365 was it was full of abandoned stations. They pushed the VIP memberships on the ability to listen to thousands of otherwise full stations, when in reality most were just abandoned playlists or shuffles. I think the Radionomy model that requires a certain listener level (with a couple of steps to get there) and especially the fact that you actually have to generate your playlist into the future or it eventually runs out and stops, make this a much 'fresher' place to listen to, and a more engaging place to broadcast from.

Carry on,
Sloane :)

I agree that for every day that there's a "problem" here is a day that should not count against you.

My main station did well for about a week, then there was an unexplained problem which caused lots of stations to lose listeners, my TLH dropped, never recovered & we were deleted.

The loss of TuneIn has cut our listeners by just over 50% and dropped us below 60 hours avg.. at this rate we'll never get that magic 130 as as soon as I promote the station, Radionomy breaks something, rinse, repeat.

suspending the 130 hour requirement is extremely needed right now, during all this trouble.

I agree with this. I have one station which made the 130 hour level a few weeks ago but has now lost about half its audience with the TuneIn shutoff and Geo-blocking.

With stations losing 40-50% because of Redionomy's negligence, Radionomy should lower the threshold by a similar amount - make it 65 hours.

But will they do that? I doubt it. The whole operation runs by robots, and I doubt any human will bother to tell the robots to use a lower threshold or stop shutting down stations altogether.
