Zararadio is Free.

- lame_enc.dll : download here: http://djlab.com/stuff/dj/lame_enc.dll

Procedure :

- To get the tags into Edcast you make an empty txt file with notepad, name it CurrentSong.txt and save it in C:\ (of course you can choose any directory you want to put it in, but it must be the same as you used in ZaraRadio and Edcast. When you use an old version of ZaraRadio you can't choose, and you have to put it in the ZaraRadio directory. In Edcast you have to use this link to the file: C:\Program Files\ZaraSoft\ZaraRadio\CurrentSong.txt

Make your soundcard use Stereomix:

With Windows XP: here is a video whitch explains how to configure : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiW4lj5ZUNc

With Vista and Windows 7: right-click the speaker icon at the bottom-right of your desktop and open "Recording Devices". You will see your Microphone and Stereo Mix. If you don't see that, right-click mouse, and checkmark "Show Disconnected Devices". Choose Stereo Mix as standard device.

Install and configure Edcast.

After installing Edcast, take a look in the Edcast folder to be sure the lame_enc.dll is in it. If not, you can put it in the folder yourself. This is important because you need it to configure Edcast with setting encoder on MP3 Lame. When done, start Edcast. In the Edcast window you will see 2 buttons: Edit and Add Encoder.

Be sure to put the lame_enc.dll in the folder where Edcast is installed. And be sure by installing Edcast you check the Lame MP3 option.
