Hi everybody, I'm looking for ways to boost my audience level and see if I can get some profit from this platform. If I create a second/third radio station, will Radionomy see my audience as one no matter how many stations I have? Will this help me reach the audience levels set by Radionomy in order to get profit?

For example, In order to start getting profit I need to have 50000 hours/month broadcasted in the US so, if I have 2 station being broadcasted 25000 hours/month each, will I start getting profit from Radionomy?

Thank you.

Hello,

Audience and revenues are calculated by station, not by producer.

Hi Domi,

Once it reaches 25000 hours or 50000 hours (France and US respectively) the revenue is calcuated for hours above and over 50000 or otherwise, please clarify. Thanks in advance :)

Hello,

Just a reminder, the required hours for Income program have changed since last Augustus (this is not retro-active).

"Appendix 1: Producer Income Program

RADIONOMY offers an income program for producers using RADIONOMY’s tools and broadcasting platform. The principle is based on income for each 1000 hours streamed on RADIONOMY in certain territories and regardless of the number of advertisements on the Radio Station. This means that even in the absence of advertisements, producers may earn income.

Relevant territories:
“Territory” shall be understood as the geographic area in which the stream is broadcast regardless of the producer’s nationality
- United States
- France

The number of calculated hours required to receive income is:
25,000 hours per month in the United States
12,500 hours per month in France

The number of hours per month shall be understood as the total number of hours broadcast from the first day to the last day of each month based on a 30-day month.

The income generated for the producer shall be:
$2.20 per 1,000 hours streaming for hours streamed to the United States
€1.70 per 1,000 hours streaming for hours streamed to France"

Once a level is reached, revenues are calculated from the 1st streamed hour in the month (not from the 1st above the level)

Lets skip for a second the profit from the platform. For a beginner radio (dunno 1-2 years old) is "creating a 2nd/3rd radio station" a good method for boosting general audience of your brand?

Let me put this way: I have a radio that recently made through 130h/month level. Having a 2nd station - and I'm thinking adding a slower-BPM one, for working hours - more cozy/less noizy/more ambiental, will affect my 1st radio station rating (the main one) or it will get more auditors for both? Is like having VH1 + Vh1 Classic + VH1 Hits and so on.

It's the 130h/month level to soon for that? If that's so... what audience rate level do you recommand for the 2nd station: 400,600,1200h/month?

Thank you,
Mihai
