When you upload songs to the Radionomy collections, would you please designate if they are "Radio Edits" or "Parental Advisory." Some of us prefer to do "family friendly" programming and it would be a great help to have some data on those songs that contain vulgarity and misogynous lyrical content. More than 80% of the music I use is from my own collections, however on the few occassions I have had to upload songs from the Radionomy data base, I have often encountered extremely offensive lyrics. If someone likes to listen to that type of thing, so be it, but since this is "Radio", a "Radio Edit" of those songs would be greatly appreciated. Barring that, please at least make us aware of the type of song you have placed in the data base (Parental Advisory, Mature Content, etc) Thank you.

It would be nice for this feature to be added but I don't think we'll see it soon.
You may just have to listen to the track and check it.

You really should review material before you air it. Every professional radio station does.

Hi James, Thanks for your response. I certainly review all material prior to airing. That doesn't change the fact that Radionomy should label their uploads appropriately. Neither I nor anyone else should have to waste time sifting through extremely offensive material which we can't possibly use. My post was referencing basic courtesy and standard business practices. Concerning your term, "every professional station." FYI, I have been in major market broadcasting for more than 25 years and currently have one of the top 5 stations on the Radionomy platform and a number of others in the top 10 in their respective categories. We also subscribe to the major Radio and DJ music services and all of them supply detailed meta data, ID3 tags and whether a song is a "Radio Edit." I guess these companies could upload their music without radio edits or detailed song data and send all the stations a note that says,"You really should review material before you air it. Every professional radio station does." On the contrary, every professional music service labels their content! We have never aired an offensive song from the Radionomy files nor will we ever air one. Nevertheless, Radionomy should indeed label their music accordingly. So my comment stands.

I don't use their music at all. And I review anything I put up before it is aired. So, I don't have that problem.
