This Android App is easy to make with "App Inventor 2"
I create a little test page 320px/500px and the app shows the page.
You can see it here https://www.radio-nostalgia.nl/demo/index.html
And this is the result on my mobile.
Whenever you like, You can update the app on the webpage.

You see on the pictures how it works.

So what happens once you create it? How do you view it? Can you put it up in the Google Play Store?

I think Nobex is better. They offer you all of that, and even if you change your radio stream, the new stream is updated and ready to be heard in an hour.

This is not comparable to Nobex
This app can be updated with the latest news, Your own layout, etc. etc. You can do what you like.

Note that some of the team behind App Inventor are now working on http://thunkable.com - and hope to have a version out for creating iOS apps by the end of the year. So, if you know and like App Inventor, it may be worth migrating over for a way to make apps for both platforms.

App Inventor/Thunkable are not for everyone of course. It depends if you can get your head around the process they use, and it is very different from traditional programming.

Bob's tutorial video was instrumental in my creation. In this version I incorporated the Letoptop listener counter. The CD artwork and song info under the player is generated by my automation software (StationPlaylist Studio.)
