I have a placeholder audio clock which I set to run throughout the day. However, at specific times, I have a half hour talk show I wish to play. Due to Radionomy's upload constraints, I have to break this show into <15minute chunks. I put these chunks into a playlist, which I set to play at a certain time. But in between each of the "chunks" of my talk show, songs from my audio clock play. Is there some reason I am missing as to why this is happening? And any way to stop it? Thanks for any help.

I went through this before as well. What this means is that you do not have enough music to fill a 24/7 format. So eventually the station will not play your music. I'm not sure if this is the correct information but I was unable to stop that until I uploaded about 100 songs or so. I hope this helps. Now it hardly ever plays other music now. I was using the Radionomy Streams until I was able to fill all of the time with my own music.

Could that really be the cause? The placeholder audio clock I use loops indefinitely when I have no talk show to put up, and the talk shows are within their own playlist, separate from that clock. The playlist lasts the exact length of the talk show, rather than being rounded to an hour block, and the placeholder seems correctly scheduled to resume immediately after. It seems strange that the music would "leak" into a separate clock like this.

Edit: Could this be related to the Authorize Truncation checkbox option for playlists? I understand that this is primarily to prevent playlists running over time, but could it be trying to make my playlist up to an hour?

I'm not sure if is the true cause. I'm just letting you know what I learned from experience. I was using the Radionomy streams until I got all of my music uploaded. It took me about 3 days to get all my music up. But once I got most of my music up and created the days planning it started giving my music priority over the other music. Once I had a daily plan running I could drill down on the list and see what was planning. I would try this. Create your plan for the day and then When you see it GENERATED in green click on it and look at the list of songs. You will see the songs you need to weed out. you can physically go in there and delete songs or ad songs at that point and then there is a button that says Reset the Schedule. it will reset the list. Then click save. It should take all of those songs out. Also when you look at this list you will see how much content that you uploaded versus the songs it's trying to play that you don't want. I hope this helps you out.

Jim

After doing the research on this. I noticed that you have to make the 15 minute segments at EXACTLY 14:59 or it will cause chaos in the system.
So make sure the segments are 14:59 exactly. The system does not allow for any overlap. Also make sure you are at the correct format of MP3 and 128 kbps.

What is this? It sounds like something I want to know more about.

I have the same concerns. I've created a playlist which airs only on Saturday nights for one hour, separate from any clock. It airs perfectly, after which the clock music takes over 24/7. I've realized that many songs on that playlist have still been playing way after their time slot. My clock has tracks, that are in shuffle mode, should take over once the playlist has completed. So why are the playlist tracks still playing and ovelapping the clock?? I think I set everything up correctly, but now I'm really confused...

Hello,

Could you please read this topic first: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=568#p1970
Then start a new thread with your specific question in the "technical support" section, it will ease the support.

Thanks.
