Social Media – Twitter worked better for me than FB. I did both organic and paid promotions on both. Social media is the BEST way to promote. I am on FB, Twitter, VK (Russian version of FB. I don’t know Russian but I need listeners), Pinterest and Google+. I know for some radios, Google+ has worked well and for some FB has. For me, Twitter worked the best. Try them all and in time you will know where your listeners hang out.

I agree with Twitter - this is by far the most effective tool in getting my radio stations known and out there. Bands will find their music playing on my stations (provided the songs are properly identified...) and retweet and it turns fans into listeners.

I have taken the advice from this post and many others. Going in to May 2017 I was at around 50 hours per day and growing very slowly. I made myself a couple of small Ads, made a facebook page, a twitter account, and a one page website using Wix. I also shared my station on my personal Facebook. within 30 days I was over 100 Hours per day, at 60 days I was over 200 Hours per day and as of today I am now over 300 hours per day. Anyone that needs to boost their hours should really give these steps a try and Keep doing it and expanding how you do it. Focus on your station growing. I hope many others start using these methods. I attached a screenshot from earlier today showing my hours.
