:: How to create .pls, .asx, .m3u files for your website ::

There is one good reason to have these files hosted by you, if Radionomy has to change their streaming URL, or if one day you want to use another streaming provider, you will just have to change the URL in the 3 files. Personally, I gave the URL of these files to every radio directory who list "BMC", with doing that I can be sure I won't have to contact them in case RADIONOMY changes something.

If you're running Windows, open Notepad, if you're running Mac OS X open TextEdit, copy/paste the information below:

1) For the .pls file:

Code:
[playlist]
NumberOfEntries=1
File1=http://listen.radionomy.com/NameOfYourRadio

Save file with the extension .pls

2) For the .asx file:

Code:
<ASX VERSION="3.0" previewmode="no">
<TITLE>NAME OF YOUR RADIO (YOUR SLOGAN TOO IF U WANT)
</TITLE>
<AUTHOR>NAME OF YOUR RADIO OR THE COMPANY WHO EDITS YOUR RADIO
</AUTHOR>
NAME OF YOUR RADIO OR THE COMPANY WHO EDITS YOUR RADIO
</ABSTRACT>
<ENTRY clientSkip="yes">
<REF HREF="YOUR STREAM URL"/>
<TITLE>NAME OF YOUR RADIO (YOUR SLOGAN TOO IF U WANT)
</TITLE>
<AUTHOR>NAME OF YOUR RADIO OR THE COMPANY WHO EDITS YOUR RADIO
</AUTHOR>
NAME OF YOUR RADIO (YOUR SLOGAN TOO IF U WANT)
</ABSTRACT>
<MOREINFO HREF="YOUR WEBSITE URL"/>
</ENTRY>
</ASX>

Save file with the extension .asx

3) For the .m3u file:

Code:
http://listen.radiononmy.com/YOUR_RADIO_NAME

Save file with the extension .m3u

4) Then upload them where you host your website.
