Looks like all Nobex apps, including our individual station apps, have disappeared from Google Play.

Nobex did send me the following email, but didn't give a reason nor an eta.

Quote:
Hi Afterburn,

A few hours ago the Google Play team suspended many of our published apps from the Google Play store. We are sorry if your app was affected. We are checking with Google to find out the reason for this and hope to have it resolved quickly.

We will keep you posted.

Regards,
Cait

Anybody else know what's going on? It seem EVERY Nobex app has disappeared, even their flagship multi-station app.

The Apple and Blackberry apps are unaffected.

There has been some discussion of this on the Radionomy Producers/Managers/Broadcasters Facebook group since they disappeared on June 30th. Nobex are investigating, and say they will provide direct download links of the app if you want them until they resolve the situation.

Nobex said today the copyright issue that prompted Google Play to remove their apps has been resolved, and they are now in the process of re-submitting all station apps. Here is the email I received from them earlier today:
Quote:
I am very happy to update you that our appeal to Google Play was accepted!

We are now in the process of resubmitting all the apps, a process that will take a few days to complete.

In order to prevent this from happening in the future, we would like to ask you to check any copyright issues that you might have, and if you have any questions, please contact us via the portal and we will be more than happy to help.

All of us at Nobex would like to thank you for your patience and huge help with the appeal. We were deeply moved by the number of stations that participated in the appeal. Within hours, hundreds of stations sent messages to Google. Many thanks!

All the best,

Gadi
