A question frequently asked by the producers is “how does Radionomy chooses the stations on the homepage of http://www.radionomy.com?”

In order to be considered for the Featured Station section of our homepage please consider the following criteria :

  • Your logo must be esthically pleasing and a compliment to the site. It needs to be in square form and high quality (minimum 600 X 600 pixels and ideally 1400 X 1400. We are looking for logos that make the site look professional and enticing.
  • Your station must sound great.
    We especially like stations that are handcrafted and include elements like jingles, promos, talk content, and lots of personality. Above all, great programming.
    A relatively simple and elegant structure can also prove very (very) effective.
  • Consistency and coherence are important. Does the name of the station, the logo, and the on-air station IDs all match up ? Are you delivering on the description you have set forth on your station page ?
  • Have your website listed on the station page and make sure the site is fresh, updated, relevant, and have a CURRENT design.
  • Be serving your audience and making them happy ! We’d love to bring you more attention and more exposure when you are already connecting with your audience.
    We thank you for your interest in being listed on our homepage. We appreciate your understanding of these standards in our consideration for Featured Station on our homepage.

We intend to list:
  • About 10-12 Radionomy stations. We strive to offer a nice mix of genres allowing the listener to experience the breath and depth of our stations.
  • We also offer up 2-3 SHOUTcast stations which are part of the RadionomyGroup of companies
  • 1 Hotmix Station. Hotmix is also a part of the Radionomy Group.

We also like to thank the active members of our Board/Forums by giving them a listing.

We will reward the efforts of our active Board/Forum members by listing their station(s) on the homepage. We believe strongly in our community of broadcasters and want to appropriately highlight the work of those members who not only producer a great station but help others do the same. These individuals raise up the entire community with their efforts.

We will call upon the experienced Moderators of the boards to nominate a station(s) across all genres and languages.
We also enjoy offering our MODOS producers an opportunity to be highlighted on our homepage by listing their stations as well. We sinerely appreciate their tireless efforts and enjoy bringing them this added attention.
