Domi, Last week we migrated "Muppet Central Radio" to Shoutcast and then deleted our station. Our Radionomy page and directory listings are gone as expected. However, our Radionomy station is still listed in the Shoutcast directory. When the station is played a pop-up error appears: "...

For those moving to TorontoCast, are you guys choosing Icecast or Shoutcast for your server? What is the rationale behind your decision? Is one better than the other when switching from AutoDJ to live and back again? This article has some helpful info, specifically that Shoutcast v2.6 may only suppo...

TorontoCast displays album art from the music files you have uploaded to their servers, but does not display the album art sent to it live from SAM. Yes, it appears both Everest and Centova servers display album art from AutoDJ mode. It looks like there's a workaround with Centova Cast though. If t...

I've already tried the new Live365 a year or so ago and, aside from the price, it's also good. My biggest gripe with them is that the "Auto-DJ" is weak and playlist creation is cumbersome. Should neither of the Canadian services fit my needs I'd probably go with Live365 for one station. I...

I have no experience with the new Live365 so I can't comment. SonixCast and TorontoCast are not without their eccentricities but have both been stable platforms. I never use their automation (except for emergencies) because I use SAM for live automation. I just uploaded several hundred tracks to ea...

Avinu, Our history sounds similar. We were on the original Live365 from 2000-2016, then Radionomy from 2016 until now. If you don't mind, please post a summary of your experiences with SonixCast, TorontoCast and if possible the relaunched Live365. I'm sure it would be of benefit to many of the broad...

Not exactly square one. As promised in the email, I just clicked one button and logged into the shoutcast rmo. My station still plays from both itunes and my website player. All my files, boxes, plannings, etc are all there. So, we have a year to contemplate the future of our stations... We'll prob...

Yes, it's back to square one again.

I'd be interested in hearing what you and other long-term broadcasters plan to do given the unfortunate circumstances concerning the US Radionomy shutdown.
